Dr. Justin Boge
Board Member | La Crosse Medical Society
Dr. Justin B. Boge is a double board-certified anesthesiologist and pain medicine physician with over 25 years of clinical and academic experience. A recipient of the U.S. Air Force Health Professions Scholarship, he served as an active-duty physician in pain and anesthesia, contributing to risk management and quality assurance initiatives. He held a decade-long faculty appointment as Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland. An award-winning teacher and lecturer, Dr. Boge is recognized for his expertise in medical legal record review, patient safety, ketamine infusions, entrepreneurship and healthcare leadership. He recently earned his Master of Health Care Administration from Cornell University in 2021, supported by a Post-9/11 GI Bill and Yellow ribbon scholarship.

An active member of the La Crosse County Medical Society (LCMS) and the Wisconsin Medical Society (WMS) and a member of the AMA since 1977 when I joined Gundersen Clinic as a Medical Oncologist. I am a Past President of the LCMS and delegate to the WMS Assembly. I continue to be interested in public health, cancer prevention and early detection and health advocacy. I am a volunteer for The Maven Project.
